Dropping, Dropping, Dropped

Ok, so Mama is dropping the ball on this blog big time. My New Year's resolution will start immediately and it will be to update daily, like the blog title suggests.

We started putting up our Christmas decorations this past weekend. Mr. Munch was enthralled by the Christmas tree lights, so Mama went in for an artsy shot. Mama's phone was not designed to do artsy shots, but it doesn't look terrible.

I want to touch it soooo bad, but Mama put me just out of reach!

Mama has been battling a sore throat and chest congestion as well, so nap time for Mr. Munch = nap time for Mama Munch.

He's asleep, but he doesn't want to lose that paci!

Today Nurse Lori came to visit, but Mama didn't need Lori to tell her that Mr. Munch is growing!

His feet hang over the edge, but it's still fun to swing!

Mr. Munch is growing well! Even though he won't be 6 months old for another 2 weeks (already?!), Mr. Munch was charted on the 6 month growth and development scale. He passed with flying colors! He is, however, being a contrary baby. Most babies roll from tummy to back, say dadada first, and don't get teeth for another couple of months. Mr. Munch rolls from his back to his tummy, says mamama and bababa first (normally the last sounds made), and already has 2 teeth halfway in! There are a few more developmental steps he needs to take, but because we tested him early, we're not worried. He weighed in at 15 pounds 13 ounces and measured 27 inches long! Growing right on track! Nurse Lori also gave the ok to start eating Cheerios and Gerber puffs.

I beg your pardon, but what on Earth have you placed on my tray?

Mr. Munch wasn't too into the Cheerio idea, but that's ok.
