Day 11

Today Mr. and Mama Munch took the Moby Wrap out for it's first out of the house test drive. We walked a couple of blocks down the street to the grocery store. The sun was bright and shiny; the weather was warm, but not unbearable. All in all, a good trip! As usual, Mr. Munch did not want to go down for his nap. Some fresh air, sunshine, and new batteries for his swing changed that, though!

Day 10

Today has certainly seemed like a busy day. Last night both sets of keys managed to get locked into the car. Thankfully those were the only important things locked in there. This morning was spent breaking into said car, which Munch Daddy managed superbly. Since this shifted plans for the day around slightly, Mr. Munch did not come to Mama Munch's appointment with the doctor. While Mama was away, Mr. Munch got to spend the afternoon with Munch Daddy!

As a result, Munch Daddy was also given the responsibility of taking today's pictures. If you ask me, he rose to the occasion admirably!

Day 9

Today has been a quiet, cuddly day for Mr. Munch. Aside from a visit from the home nurse, his day has been spent eating, cuddling, and napping.

(Cuddling comes after eating and before sleeping. Mama Munch is pretty comfy!)

Today's basic physical confirms that Mr. Munch is getting to be a pretty big boy! He is in the 90th percentile for length (22.5in) and weight (10lb 6oz) and the 80th percentile for head circumference (15in). In addition to being the picture of chill while the nurse was visiting, he managed to charm her with his big eyes and little smiles. He sure is a cutie!!

Day 8

I'm sure that someday I will come up with more creative titles for these posts...

Today has been pretty uneventful. Munch Daddy didn't have to work until late afternoon, so the Munch Family got to spend some rare time together. Of course, Mr. Munch was sad to see his Munch Daddy leave and so decided to live up to his clothing.

Lately Mama Munch has used the library two blocks away as an excuse to get out of the house. As a result, Mr. Munch got a gift and his first ever library book! Had I known a smile was coming, I would have waited another second to take the picture. Alas.

Day 7

Today Mr. Munch and his friends have a message to the extended Munch relatives currently on vacation...

Cuddle time is sorely missed!! Mama cuddles are only nice for so long!

This week Mr. Munch and Mama Munch are working on establishing a routine nap time. Or as close as one could hope. The efforts of the past few days have promise, but Mr. Munch is solidly against nap time. He might miss something cool!

Day 6

Hooray for uploaded pictures! Thanks to Munch Daddy, yesterday's technical problems have been solved. There's even a bonus picture today!

Mr. Munch has two very talented great-grandmas who have both made him a quilt. Today's pictures feature one of these lovely quilts.

And now for the bonus picture! Today Mr. Munch was given his first set of keys. He enjoyed them so much that Mama Munch couldn't get a clear picture, but it's entertaining none-the-less.

Day 5

Today's picture was taken with the digital camera. Due to technical difficulties, said picture could not be retrieved from the camera, so it will be tomorrow's picture. To stand in we have an experimental picture taken with the cell phone. The swing was in motion, the camera was in motion, the result was...eh. Still an adorable picture, however, that well describes the lazy day that Mr. Munch had.

He doesn't look like a happy Munch, but trust me when I say he enjoyed his nap very much.

Day 4

Last night the Family Munch stayed with Mr. Munch's great-grandma. Today has been full of running around and it's not done yet!

Day 3

Gas was the culprit of yesterday's fussiness. Mama Munch was woken this morning to the very loud sounds of infant gas passing. Oddly enough, the distributor of said gas stayed solidly asleep.

Today a wave of inspiration hit Mama Munch. The living room got cleaned, the important papers and receipts got organized, and Mr. Munch...well, he was spiffed up.

Of course, all of Mama's activities got Mr. Munch pretty worn out.

Day 2

Fussbudget - One who devotes a portion of time to the auditory activities of discontent, often without obvious cause.

The last 24 hours have been difficult for the Munch Family. Mr. Munch has been less than cooperative when it comes to general mood and attitude. Today's picture was captured during one of the rare moments of calm.

The Parents Munch have been taking turns napping as Mr. Munch refuses to follow suit and so has exhausted his parental units.
